My life with Meniere's disease

a work in progress

I've had some form of ear disease since I was an infant, but it wasn't until 34 years later that I was diagnosed with delayed Meniere's disease and underwent "minimally invasive" neurosurgery to stop the vertigo. It only lasted 6 months, until I flew on an airplane and relapsed. There hasn't been a day since that I haven't been dizzy.

Maybe that's part of the lesson for me here, don't get too comfy with assumptions of life carrying on as it has been. This space was intended for me to write about figuring it out but now I'm not so sure I really know which end is up. So I find myself sitting on it, though I do still intend to write about it more. The main site at concutere.com might just become something like a blog to myself in that spirit. At any rate, more to come, sooner or later ...
